“The original house was demolished in January 2011 and original builders were terminated in September 2012. Jim took over in October 2012. The design, structure, framing and some internal items were already complete when J. Nord Wolfe began work on the house. With a custom home, the finishes and fine details are everything. Jim certainly had his work cut out for him – the sub-par quality of the initial work needed brought up to levels in accordance with the plans. Among other things, Jim oversaw the correction of the shoddy plumbing, removed and reinstalled the misaligned recessed lighting, reworked the internal wall plaster, external stucco and painting.

Jim takes so much personal pride in delivering top quality results. He is very intelligent, caring, and “gets” the high-end expectation of his clients. He probably doesn’t realize his excellent taste and advice on interior design issues. An added benefit and bonus that comes with working with Jim. After working with the previous builder (who never tracked daily activity, neglected to set up site sign-in logs and failed to recognize sub-par work) Jim was a refreshing change. Jim keeps meticulous records and documentation and has an immaculate attention to detail.”
