This vintage-inspired, master bathroom was the finishing touch as we moved up through the house on this remodeling project. With occasional exception, everything incorporated into the design, while new, is period-correct. The tub, designed to look vintage, is acrylic and provides the comfort of a heated backrest. All of the vintage-inspired plumbing fixtures are polished nickel by California faucets and the Kohler sink and toilet complete the look; with Restoration Hardware touches throughout.
ABOUT THIS MASTER BATH PROJECT
We were recommended to this client by an industry referral and asked to remodel the upstairs master bath, master bedroom, guest bath, hallway, stairs and related details of this wonderful home in Morgan Hill, CA. Our aim was to integrate the period-specific design of the new bathrooms with the hallway and then transition seamlessly to the custom stairway down to the first floor.
The drawers in the premium, custom cabinetry are dovetailed and built to withstand life for years to come. Carrara marble, subway-tile wainscot and the floor – there is everything to love about the floor. The tile is cut in an octagon pattern with meticulous black edging and Carrara marble border.
We look forward to showing more from this project in our blog and encourage you to check back. In the meantime, have a look at this Kitchen-Bath-Laundry Renovation.
