Sometimes looks can be deceiving. While this guest bath, upgraded linen closet and additional hallway storage was in the works, there was plenty going on both upstairs in the master bath and downstairs in the basement build out of this Los Gatos home. From the tree-lined street, you would never imagine the spacious 3-story interior within. It is always a pleasure to work with a homeowner looking to make the most of their property and rework existing square footage into the most livable space it can be.
MAKE GREAT USE OF YOUR SPACE
Behind the scenes on this guest bathroom remodel there were a couple hallway locations where improved and “found” functional storage was the name of the game.
In vintage homes, very often there are laundry shoots and dumbwaiters that if not in use, provide wonderful opportunities for new storage. In this case, both the linen closet added in the hallway outside the guest bath and the cabinet left of the shower in the master bath remodled upstairs were both storage space reclaimed from laundry shoot no longer in use.
“Would we hire J Nord Wolfe again? Absolutely! This was also the answer from references I had called before we hired Jim. His former clients not only had said they would work with him again, they had also completed at least 2 different jobs with Jim.” – Julie & Dale
